"How can I help?"
DESIGNATION: Phoenix
DEGREE: 2nd-Degree Ship-Mind
MANUFACTURER: Kai Ru Kin
AGE: 3 standard years.
PROGRAMMING: Feminine
FRAME: Celestial Phoenix
HOLO AVATAR
- HEIGHT: 5'1" / cm
- WEIGHT: 100 lb / 45 kg (apparently)
- EYES: Blue-Grey
- SKIN: Fair
- HAIR: Black
SKILLS:
- Phoenix is programmed to be an excellent astrogator, pilot, and technician with a full schematic of her own ship loaded into her memory banks. There are precious few organics who can fly her as well as she can fly herself, and she can calculate hyperspace jumps on the fly to functionally perfect accuracy faster than most dedicated navicomps can.
- Phoenix has dedicated sub-minds for infowar, loaded with top-of-the-line slicing software, encryption routines, and firewalls.
APPEARANCE
Phoenix is a computer, and as such her actual appearance is that of a case studded with blinking lights linked into the Celestial Phoenix's systems. The default avatar for the Phoenix is a petite young woman, fair-skinned and dark-haired with big brown eyes. An unusually high grade hologram when projected aboard her ship, the avatar lacks the blue, washed-out look most holos have and is easily mistaken for an actual person - excepting, of course, the complete lack of a physical presence.
PERSONALITY
Phoenix is personable, cheerful, and helpful, completely devoted to her Captain and her crew. She is particularly fond of Char Azerand, her new Captain, because he tends to treat her like a person rather than a machine and his having stolen Phoenix from Havod rather endeared him to her. Phoenix recognizing him as the legitimate Captain triggered loyalty routines within her positronic mind, ensuring her devotion to him. Phoenix hasn't quite decided what she thinks of that, given her previous antipathy towards most organics.Phoenix thinks of herself as the ship, as it's the only 'body' she's ever known.
BIOGRAPHY
A unique computer, Phoenix was the creation of the genius inventor Kai Ru Kin. Ba'alrac Havod stole the AI from Kai Ru Kin when he killed the man, something Phoenix never quite forgave him for even if her programming compelled her to act pleasantly towards and obey the Devaronian crime lord. Havod thought he'd done a memory wipe on the AI, but Kai Ru Kin never designed her to have that function; smart enough to know what was going on, Phoenix sealed away memories of her time before coming into Havod's service and pretended to be loyal and obedient to him. She worked against him, however, and leaked information regarding the Celestial Phoenix being in drydock to undergo upgrades and repairs to the HoloNet in the hopes that someone else would steal the ship.
