Description/Other Features:
The Spinal Integration Unit is a mounted spinal spinal used for navigation, health management, and interface interaction. The device can bring up charts and maps, as well as display a colored holographic line to the user to display the direction of their destination. The SIU displays the general well being of the user, and will emit a flatline sound when the users vitals cease. The Unit will administer a bacta or kolto solution directly into the spine when the user's general health is low, or is dying. The SIU is primarily used through a variety of holographic displays. Through this computer, the user can remotely send orders to crews, place landing beacons, and receive notifications and messages through the device.
The most unique specification about the device is the interface. The interface is a physical interactive hologram. The User can interact completely with the device through the interface. Other Users with their own Units can comingle with each other's interface. The device itself is rapidly advancing, not just by its operating system, but it's capabilities. The uses for the device are endless.
It can be removed, painlessly. (still miffy on how it's removed/replaced)
