Height: 5'9"

Skills and Powers
Appearance
Though Meroln is in his early thirties he actually has the appearance of a younger man, short, low-faded brown hair gives him as much of a professional appearance as he's going to get. His youthful expression and the triangular angle of his face can make it hard for him to appear very serious, betraying his commanding voice.
Personality
Though Meroln has the capacity for being one hell of a smart-ass, he typically takes on a more serious and demanding personality that, despite his physical features betraying him, can be rather commanding at times. Vigorous and oddly youthful for a middle-aged man, he is rather active, strong, and intelligent and he makes sure to use each to his advantage in any scenario. He can be rather active and prefers to be a part of the action, despite the chances to avoid it that his rank gives him.
Background
Meroln Dazyn, Imperial Officer, Lieutenant, Imperial Knights Attachment.

I hate to bring up so much of my past but apparently it is necessary for records. Oh, Imperial military regulations. First in my class to complete this thanks to being the first to even bother memorizing non-ciriculum regulations nobody really cares about.
The Dazyn family of Ahakista was one of the upper-class families, the kind of family that was hated by the majority of the planet and only tolerated by those of the same civil stature. Much like the entirety of the Empire's Imperial Command structure. We are all ambitious in our own ways. We all hate each other and are suspicious of each others activities. But only the fools stand in the back or lead from the front. If it weren't for my upbringing I'd have never been one of the perfects of my class in Officer's School.
Growing up was far too much like life in the Imperial Officer's Advanced Training schools. Sneaking out when I felt like doing something important or simply seeing the rest of civilization. Getting a drink was typically the best way to do it in school, but back home I'd just end up with a blaster pistol in my hand and a dagger on my hip while I trudged the streets of the lower-class fools.
But for the most part I just stayed where I was supposed to, doing what I was told and sometimes even more. I heard recently that my family house has seen some despair since I left, being picked on by the other houses now that I'm gone. My knowledge of the laws, traditions, and practices of society made my family stronger and richer than most, but when I left it fell back down. Once you become a 'normal' upper-class family after having been up-tight for years you lose a lot of credibility. A failure on the part of both my parents and my now late brother.
I grew up learning how to use my fists and any melee weapon I could get my hands on for the deaths of others, was self-taught with blasters until I joined the military, and found a small passion in breaking through security of other families so I could steal an item or boobytrap a well used corridor.
That's about all that is necessary for my past history. I don't need anyone thinking they were important to me by any means so, in this one instance, I won't be giving any 'extra' information.
The only other thing that could possibly be important here is that I graduated my class in Officer's schooling near the top as one of the perfects. I was caught getting out once and that kept me from beating the idiots I was classed with. Do they make all wanna-be officers so stupid they can't even tell what planet they're on?

Skills and Powers
- Command - He has a moderately high ability to command troops, though this relates to ground situations rather than space/fleet situations.
- Piloting - He is quite skilled in piloting speeders and has moderate capabilities with TIE fighters. He isn't much for anything bigger, though he does have basic knowledge.
- Ranged Combat - He is skilled in all forms of blaster pistols, most forms of blaster carbines, and has minor skill in heavy blaster rifles. He has moderate marksmanship skill with sniper-based rifles, but is not exemplary.
- Hand-to-Hand - He has rather high skills in hand-to-hand combat, practicing whenever he gets the chance and even sparing with his own troops.
- Melee - Anything from a dagger to a full-on Vibroblade long-sword, Meroln can use and can use it well. He never practices with fake melee weapons anymore, rarely teaching his subordinates unless he sees great ambition and love for melee.
- Slicing/Hacking - Despite his great focus on command and combat, Meroln has a worthy level of skill in hacking/slicing databases and security. While he is not particularly fit for recon missions, he is useful any time hacking is necessary.
