Mandalorian Supercommandos
The Mandalorian Supercommandos have experienced a massive revival in the Vencuyanir Movement. After generations of decline, the organization has been reestablished and has become a dreaded force on the battlefield.
The Supercommandos adhere to a modified version of the traditional Supercommando Codex as established by Jaster Mereel. Composed of hundreds of commandments from Mandalorian tradition dating back to the age of the Crusades, Mandalorian Supercommandos honor ancient warrior tradition and their honor codes and incorporate these values into their lifestyle.
In the Civil War, the organization has become epitomized the movement, with its deep roots in Mandalorian traditions. Many of the fighting men and women of the Vencuyanir dream of being admitted into the Supercommandos. The commandos support Cuyan and fiercely maintain that the Darasuum Confederation's New Order is tantamount to heresy, and requires a purge at all costs. They envision an empowered Mandalorian nation to rise from this conflict, and have already dictated their desire to be an important part of an informal Mandalorian military that plies its trade as highly paid mercenaries around the galaxy following the war.
The commandos are headed by a gritty war veteran known as Dha Chur of Aliit Chur. A Zabrak who worked for decades as a wellknowned and lauded mercenary prior to the war, Cuyan recruited him to head the reestablished group. A tough, no-nonsense leader who leads from the front, Dha maintains strict discipline standards in his unit and tough trials for those who seek membership.
Only a candidate who has solid recommendation and has been vetted by an existing Supercommando is permitted to undergo the Supercommando Trials. The nature of these trails are a closely guarded secret, but the washout rate is the highest for any military unit in the galaxy. Once one passes these trials, they are probationary members who must prove their mettle in battle with distinction before being elevated to a full member - membership that will last for life. Mandalorians may retire whenever they desire, as long as they are full members, but no commando will ever leave the group while their is an active war or if a Mand'alor calls for the Supercommandos.
Dha has also made it a practice to look after all of his own fiercely, vowing to leave no man behind no matter the cost. This vow has led to several high profile rescues deep behind enemy defenses even early on in the conflict. The Zabrak has also declared that any members who retire following the war will be looked after with equal ferocity, even in old age.
Thus, the Supercommandos remain a mysterious, exclusive, and fierce force to be reckoned with. Their foes literally tremble at their name, and their allegiance to Cuyan's mission is worth its weight in gold fifty times over. Their youth means that almost all of the group are founding members, adding even more of an exclusive edge to the group. New members, the few that are joining the ranks, feel immense pressure to prove themselves.
The Supercommandos currently number about 400 men and women strong, of all backgrounds, races, and genders. They almost always operate in smaller, tight-knit units, and only in the most critical events will the entire group operate together. They train constantly and incorporate strategy and tactics from all over the galaxy and from every epoch in history into their fighting techniques. In the field, they can be utilized in virtually any fashion, be it assault, scouting, leadership, infiltration, counterterrorism, unconventional warfare, hostage rescue, etc. They do not ever expect to take heavy losses in combat.
The Supercommandos are usually expected to each have their own ship, even if they do not use it on campaigns. All provide their own weaponry. Supercommandos are also outfitted with 85% beskar armor, a perk unique to their group and an honor of the highest standards when taking into consideration beskar's rarity. Behind this armor are the best smiths the Mandalorians can offer, who are skilled at adapting the armor to each commando's personal traits and characteristics. Supercommandos wear armor of all colors, but black is a favorite.
OOC: Being a member of the Supercommandos is an all-in commitment, and joining is a significant milestone in a character's life. Following the war, the Supercommando life will lose the rigidity of wartime, and a Supercommando character will benefit from significant battle experience and galaxy-class training, and join other commandos in taking on the toughest missions in the galaxy as mercenaries. IRL parallels: think Navy SEALS & Delta Force & you're right on track.
Mandalorian Protectors - Mando Cabure
Canon History
The Mandalorian Protectors share a series of similarities with the Supercommandos, as both are derived from similar origins in the Supercommando Codex. In fact, the Protectors were an incarnation of the Commandos during its genesis.
With a more recent history, the Protectors never have really died since their formation during the Clone Wars. They were maintained by a small group that was mostly comprised of members of Clan Verbur, who deemed it their purpose to preserve the group with fanatical dedication. The Protectors bided their time until a traditionalist unification cause emerged, eking out a subsistence existence in a remote part of Mandalore, constantly honing their skills for battle and defending themselves from hostile clans when necessary. When a worthy cause emerged, the Protectors threw themselves behind the Vencuyanir Movement with all of their weight, and were a valuable asset in the earliest stages in the war.
Like the Supercommandos, the Protectors view the Darasuum as a serious threat to Mandalorian tradition.
The Protectors operate differently then the Supercommandos, in that they specialize in two crafts: assault as shock troops, and as elite infiltrators. The Protectors are known for their ability to wage guerrilla warfare. Whereas supercommandos usually operate with a main battle force, supplementing their efforts, the Protectors are tasked with being inserted deep into Mandalorian territory and disrupting their operations until a campaign can be waged to take this area. What would usually be considered a suicide mission is undertaken successfully the Protectors, and they are completely indispensable to the Vencuyanir cause. Already, they played a pivotal role in every Vencuyanir victory, and are already dispersing to new assignments in which they will infiltrate Darasuum territory and gather valuable intel for future campaigns, and wreak havoc where needed from the inside.
The Protectors number about 350 strong, with 200 of those Protectors belonging to families who have maintained the Protector tradition for generations and been a member of the group since birth. The other 150 are new recruits who passed the rigorous five-day initiation tests and undergone a do-or-die training mission (Protectors receive a brief spurt of training in friendly territory, then are thrust directly into missions and learn on the job). Joining the Protectors rests heavily on these initiation tests, with washout rates as high as 90%. Only a few recruits are allowed in, as the Protectors do not have the leisure of training new recruits as they are constantly deployed. The nature of the Protectors' long pre-war tradition and the fact that Aliit Verbur dominates its ranks, along with its extremely low recruitment rate, all adds to the general perception that the Protectors are a fanatical, mystical order made of of members that are slightly, if not completely insane.
Protectors typically wear green armor (denoting duty) adorned with Protector sigils denoting their affiliation. However, many Protectors paint their beskar'gam with camouflage suited for their mission's environment during this time of war. Protectors use similar equipment for a smoother logistics system, as resupply can be rare. Protectors are eligible for 65% composite beskar'gam.
Following the conclusion of the war, the Protectors plan to maintain their tradition and play an active role in the defense of Mandalorian territory over a mercenary's life.

Mandalorian Order of the Watchmen
The Mandalorian Order of the Watchmen (shortened Mandalorian Watchmen) are a secretive and mysterious Mandalorian group with a cloaked history.
The group has a history steeped in secrecy, and emerged only when the Vencuyanir Movement was struggling to get off of its feet.
Comprised of a mixture of smiths from the Clan Goran and various other clans, the Order is adept at specialized forms of combat. Well versed in a variety of ranged weapons, the Order also trains itself to use different kinds of exotic weapons from around the galaxy - and focuses on the Mesh'la Kal - The Art of the Beautiful Blade. This iconic skill has made the Watchmen famous and most easily is a symbol of their traditionalist values.
The Watchmen are comprised of some of the most skilled smiths in the entire Mandalorian people, who have honed the art of smithing and passed it down from generation to generation. Their beskade and other melee weapons are of the highest quality in the galaxy, and are forged out of folded pure beskar. Extremely durable, some beskade used by the Watchmen are dated at being thousands of years old. Their strength is unparalleled - they can go blows with even lightsabers and pierce through beskar-composite armor - only pure and skillfully forged beskar'gam or equivalents to it can save a warrior from a Watchmen's blade.
The order is extremely secretive and reclusive; their training area is hidden and members of its orders are secretive and barely speak in general. They embody the Resol'nare in its purest form, isolating themselves from the entire galaxy and watching the events of the galaxy carefully, influencing it as they seem fit to ensure the continuity of the Resol'nare.
The stuff of legend, rumor, and many ghost stories, the Watchmen are rumored to be the hidden force that has ended ambitious Mandalorian warlords suddenly and without explanation, or the saving force that rescued vode who were trapped without aid in impossible situations. In fact, many regarded the Watchmen as fictional myths until their public entry into the Civil War.
Although they have declared their existence publicly and contributed 300 members of their Order to the war cause, it is whispered they maintain an additional 800 members in secret, spread out throughout Mandalorian space. These deep-cover agents await only the word to wreak havoc onto what they view as the heretical Darasuum - or to eliminate the Vencuyanir, should they stray from the traditionalist values they claim.
Many details about the Order remain pure speculation, and their members rarely voice their membership openly, preferring to blend in as regular Mando'ade or even as foreigners. Those that reveal their Watchmen status are known to choose their words with the highest levels of caution, maintain a constant serious state of mind, and observe the events occurring around them with analytical precision akin to a computer's.
In combat, they are unparalleled. They use every tactic invented in the galaxy to effect their ends. Preferring stealth, they use deception as their primary ally, attacking and killing silently or disappearing without a trace into the shadows. The Watchmen prefer to use melee or non-energy weapons for their stealth, and consider it to be a more honorable form of combat. That aside, they are not opposed to taking down threats from afar with ranged weapons. A foe would be wise to take their chances with a Watchmen at range, for in close combat, they are capable of going toes with Force-sensitives.
The only way to enter the Order, if one is not born into it, is to be "tapped" by a member. What is known about this process is that a Watchmen will observe from the shadows a potential member's skill and values, and if they are deemed to be aligned with the Order's views and standards, they will be approached and offered a place within the Order's ranks. A refusal will result in the approaching Watchman to disappear once more, never to be seen again - the "tapping" to be remembered only as an elusive dream by the potential Watchman recruit. If one accepts the recruitment offer, they are promptly whisked away to the Watchmen base or one of their border outposts, to undergo a long period of training and indoctrination. Only once one has completed the Watchmen Trials will they be assigned a mission in the field.
The Watchmen are skilled assassins, which is their preferred mission. Their only real combat application is as scouts or saboteurs. Watchmen beskade are of the finest quality, and are typically family heirlooms and encrusted with jewels and other decorations. Their armor varies depending on assignment - midnight black is the preferred color, but they will use many common paint schemes to fit into regular Mandalorian units.
OOC: Going to be an IC force behind the events of the War, may be opened up to recruitment later if the idea takes off in some capacity. IRL Parallels - Ninja, Samurai
