Armament:
- Yaret-Kor Plasma Cannons: Superiority-type Coralskippers have four of these, two located to each side of the cockpit. They are powerful weapons, roughly as destructive as light proton torpedoes, but are short-ranged with an effective engagement range of about three to five kilometers.
- Solar Ionization Cannons: The large spikes that extend past the front of the fighter are heavy particle accelerators that spew lances of high-intensity ionized light that ignores shielding and melt through durasteel. They are power-hungry weapons, limiting their use, but positively lethal. Unlike the yaret-kors, they have ranges comparable to most deadtech laser cannons.
- Dovin Basal: Superiority-type Coralskippers has a single dovin basal about one hundred and twenty centimeters across, larger and more powerful than that of the basal Coralskippers. The dovin basal is located behind the nose of the fighter, in between the two large plasma lances and the smaller plasma cannons. Though out of combat it is used for propulsion, in combat it is typically used for defense against enemy missiles.
- Cognition Hood: Like most Yuuzhan Vong bishops, the Coralskippers are semi-sentient and operate not through control panels, but through direct neural link with their pilots. This enables the Vong pilot to react at the speed of thought, taking full advantage of the Coralskipper's extraordinary maneuverability.
- Sensing Nodules: Located in a pair of pits to either side of the cockpit, the Superiority-type Coralskipper has a surprisingly perceptive sensory suite capable of detection through not only electromagnetic spectrums but also through organic crystal gravtraps and rudimentary Force senses.
- Villip Choir: Each Coralskipper has a villip choir consisting of two small villips located to either side of the cockpit, linked to their squadron's master villip and projecting a tactical display as well as letting the pilot speak with the other members of his squadron. Most Coralskipper villips are also bonded to oggzils, enabling them to communicate with deadtech-using pilots.
