This is the map used in play. Faction territories are not yet established. Interpreting the Map The map is divided into quadrants on two axes. These quadrants denote sectors containing various star systems and planets within them. After a quick Wookieepedia search to find your desired planet's coordinates, simply follow the two axes to locate your planet's location. (I.e., Coruscant's coordinates are L-9). Each grid square, without modifiers, takes about an hour to cross with a Class One hyperdrive, two hours with a Class Two, and so on. Hyperspace travel times are influenced by a variety of factors, not just those such as Hyperdrive Class and distance. Existence of nebulae or other hazards and the deviations around such hazards must be taken into account; crossing through them increases travel time by two to five times. Traveling along a Trade Route will reduce time by a factor of one-half.
