This isn't a sticky, just a general sounding-out to sate my curiosity.
How experienced and knowledgable are y'all about hand-to-hand fighting in the real world? It's generally the trickiest to write melee (it's much harder to screw up writing a gunfight, but that's not to say it's easier to write well), being that it's hard to write what you don't know. Most people, I've found, don't really know how to fight.
(And a lot of people that kind of know how to fight, they seem to enjoy long, over-complicated, and over-technical explanations of their every move and maneuver that really breaks up the flow of the post.)
