Description: The Tor-class Starfighter is designed to an all-encompassing multirole fighter (Tor means Justice in Mando'a).
Armed with powerful triple laser cannons on each wingtip, coupled with high maneuverability and speed, the Tor is a menace in a dogfight. Armed with an ion cannon to capture targets when needed, and proton torpedoes for standoff capability against capital ships, the Tor is adaptable and is equipped to deal with a variety of scenarios.
It has advanced environmental sealing so that it can adapt to many different environments (i.e. land in water, not be affected by adverse tropical conditions, etc) - although this requires routine maintenance.
The fighter is also equipped for long-range missions. The cockpit is unusually spacious, allowing one to recline. An astromech droid can fit into a socket to provide navigation and act as a mechanic and co-pilot. The fighter also has a fast hyperdrive and a backup.
The Tor also has an open weapons mount on its belly. Its most common configuration is the dogfighter, with proton torpedoes mounted for space combat. The second favorite is a bomb rack for a fast-mover variant that is effective both against fortified land targets or capital ships.
